How to sell your Silicon Valley home

The listing period

❏ Initial consultation and market analysis of your home’s value

❏ Sign the listing paperwork to hire the Erdal Team

❏ Inspection time! Hire an inspector to survey your home’s condition

❏ Have a design consultation with our professional stagers

❏ De-clutter your home so it will shine during the staging process

❏ Clean your home from top to bottom, including its storage areas and exterior

❏ Stage your home so buyers can easily picture themselves living there

❏ Arrange for professional listing photos of your home

The marketing period

❏ Enter your property into the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) so it’s accessible to agents and buyers

❏ Promote your listing via internet, print and word-of-mouth channels

❏ Host private broker open to show your home to local agents and brokers

❏ Hold open houses and showings so eager buyers can see the property in person

❏ Get an offer (or three!) and begin the offer review process

❏ Negotiate with top buyers/bids and select one final offer

The escrow period

❏ Sign paperwork to accept one final offer

❏ Determine dates for inspection, appraisal and closing

❏ Sign final title documents

❏ Clean your home and move out

❏ Success! Meet for closing of escrow
