9 steps to selling your Silicon Valley home

Step 1: Understand your home’s value

Before you make the decision to sell your home, it’s critical that you understand where you stand in today’s market. You can start here by checking out your online home estimate, where you’ll get an automated report based on local market indicators and the recent selling prices of homes like yours.

Of course, algorithms don’t have all the answers. They can’t see the condition or upgrades of your property, or the small nuances that can make large differences in sale price. The most accurate estimate of your home can only be done with an in­-home consultation, where we can take into account your specific home’s features, location and condition. Step 2: Getting down and dirty

Once you decide to sell, you’ll need to get your home fully inspected. The most common inspections we recommend are roof, termite and general property inspections.
